Dr. Navneet K. Minhas is a Toronto, Ontario native. She attended Milliken Mills High School in Markham, where she graduated with honours. She went on to complete a Bachelor of Science at York University with Honours, double majoring in Biology and Kinesiology & Health Sciences. She was also named on the Dean's list, and received a special award from the Department of Kinesiology. Dr. Minhas received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious New York University in Manhattan, New York.

Dr. Minhas has successfully completed the National Dental Examination Board of Canada’s written and Objective Structured Clinical Exam, and the American Dental Association National Boards Part 1 and 2. Dr. Minhas is licensed by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, and Canadian Dental Association.
